Noa Tcherniack : Tennis Player at Michigan State

Noa Tcherniack competes for the Michigan State University men’s tennis team (the Spartans), an NCAA Division I program based in East Lansing, Michigan. The team is a member of the Big Ten Conference, one of the most competitive conferences in the country. Originally from Pérols, France, he is part of the 2026–2027 roster as a sophomore.

A Standout Debut Season at Northern Arizona

Noa spent his 2025–2026 “redshirt freshman” season at Northern Arizona University (the Lumberjacks), which competes in NCAA Division I as part of the Big Sky Conference. Serving as the team’s No. 1 player, he finished the regular season with a 14–4 record in singles.

He was named Big Sky Player of the Week twice during the spring of 2026.
In April 2026, he was named MVP of the Big Sky tournament after securing the decisive point in the final—winning his match in three sets (6–2, 2–6, 6–4)—which qualified Northern Arizona for the NCAA tournament.
The team captured both the regular-season and tournament titles before facing Arizona in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

A New Chapter in the Big Ten

Noa is now continuing his collegiate career at Michigan State. In the fall of 2026, he competed in the Louisville Classic, where he played a three-set singles match on the opening day and secured a doubles victory alongside Thomas Nelson (6–2). He also earned a spot in the main draw for both singles and doubles (partnering with Lincoln Battle) at the ITA Midwest Regional. An experienced profile for a sophomore
As a No. 1 singles player in a Division I conference—with a conference title to his name and an appearance in the NCAA tournament—Noa brings experience and consistency to Michigan State, qualities that are highly valuable in the team-based format of collegiate tennis.
