California Trip 2027

California Tennis Camp 2027: Tennis, English, and NCAA Campuses

From February 11th to 22nd, 2027, ProcessUS Consulting and the French Touch Academy are organizing a California tennis camp for young players who want to discover American college tennis. The group will depart from Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and arrive in San Diego.

This trip will combine training sessions, athletic conditioning, English lessons, visits to NCAA campuses, and a firsthand look at student-athlete life. Each participant will have the chance to improve on the court, build independence, and find out whether pursuing a university path in the United States is truly the right fit for them.

An immersion in American college tennis

A typical tennis camp focuses mainly on training sessions. This California tennis trip, on the other hand, offers a broader immersion. Players will discover the demands of college sports, as well as the academic environment, everyday campus life, and daily use of English.

In practice, the trip is designed to help young players answer several questions: Am I ready to live far from home ? Can I balance academics and training ? Does the American university system fit my goals ? This experience does not guarantee recruitment, admission, or an athletic scholarship. It does, however, allow participants to make a better-informed decision.

The California tennis camp program

First, participants will take part in tennis training and athletic conditioning sessions. The program may include technical work, match play situations, and physical exercises tailored to the group. The organization will share the exact number of sessions in the final schedule.

Next, the young players will attend English lessons and use the language throughout visits and activities. The goal is to build their confidence in real-world situations, without presenting these lessons as official preparation for a language test.

Finally, the group will visit several campuses and sports facilities. These visits will allow participants to compare different university environments and better understand the role tennis plays in a student-athlete’s daily life.

  • tennis training and physical conditioning ;
  • match play situations as scheduled ;
  • English lessons and practice ;
  • visits to university campuses and sports facilities ;
  • cultural activities and discovering California ;
  • group life and building independence.

Which NCAA campuses are planned ?

The program includes several California universities. At this stage, the planned campuses are:

  • San Diego State University ;
  • Pepperdine University ;
  • Cal Poly ;
  • Point Loma ;
  • LMU (Loyola Marymount University)

This list may change depending on university schedules, availability, and travel constraints. ProcessUS will therefore share the final program with families before departure. An experience already proven in Florida

The California 2027 project builds on the Florida Tennis Roadtrips organized in 2024, 2025, and 2026. During the most recent edition, twelve players aged 15 to 20 took part in ten tennis/fitness sessions and visited eight university campuses in Florida.

Through this trip, players discovered the NCAA system, gained independence, and developed a clearer understanding of what pursuing a college tennis path in the U.S. really involves. This experience is concrete proof of ProcessUS’s ability to organize and supervise this type of trip.

“Thank you for this wonderful trip. The content and communication were excellent. Our son came back thrilled.”
